Assembles like a regular EMT/RIGID/IMC set screw coupling, To install, simply slide coupling end stop onto fixed end of EMT/RIGID/IMC and tighten screw. Place movable EMT/RIGID/IMC completely into coupling and mark engagement, remove EMT/RIGID/IMC and mark half the distance of engagement, reinstall EMT/RIGID/IMC to half distance; These expansion couplings allow 2 inches of movement in either direction (4 inches overall) when installed. Patented.
