Constructed out of High Speed Steel (HSS) providing strength and durability, the bit has balanced hardened tapping edges with 1/4" hex shank that makes it compatible not only with cordless drills but also impact drivers. Similar to the IDEAL TKO Carbide Tipped Hole Cutters we have incorporated the SmoothStart tip which minimizes thread damage and extends the life of the bits.
